Default feedback from epson 1280 printer using pigment ink?

I am using dye ink right now with my epson 1280 printer , printing on jetwear for dark, black image fades to grey after washed. I have been hesitating to used pigment have heard it will clog the printer, but also notice other people have been using CIS system with pigment ink. I would like some feedback if anyone have used it with pigment ink.

Thanks in Advance
Dee S

I personally would recommend using cartridges with pigment in. Thats what I did with my 1280.
