Default Blank background help with heat transfers - possible without trimming?

I am designing Heat press transfers onto t-shirts and the designs i have would look good if parts of it didnt have a background instead it would have the t-shirt as part of the background. Without having to cut out each section from my transfer how can i get my transfer on my shirt without having to cut them all out. Im doing this on Dark transfer paper.

(kind of like this, because i know the designer didnt take the time to cut out ever little aspect of that design for a lot of shirts)

For inkjet transfers, there is a paper called WOW that will give you the desired look. But its expensive.

Do a search on 'wow' at the top of the page for details.

Music, you could have custom opaque plastisol transfers made. Mike

yeah, if not custom plastisol transfers or wow paper (i'm guessing this is a self-weeding paper) you'd have to get a vinyl cutter and have it cut it out for you. given your example and the detail within it's design a plastisol transfer would be the way to go. (but have never tried self-weeding paper).

but realistically how much would a custom transfer cost for a design like this with that many colors?

they have a four color process. it's the art 101 system that blue mixed with yellow makes green etc. 4 screens: one for cyan, magenta, yellow and black using water based ink can 'mimic' all the colors in the rainbow. look up plastisol vendors under the search function and check out their rates. it depends on quantity size etc.

Sorry WOW is not an inkjet transfer paper. It is for laser printers.
