Exclamation Printing design on a Bathing Suit..

Hello there

I've been working on making my own bathing suit for this summer but have no idea on how I'm going to print my design on the nylon/spandex/lycra fabric.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I'd rather use heat transfer/press.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum!

The best for swimwear printing is dye sublimation, without a doubt! Have you considered using 100% polyester fabric? It generally lasts longer than the nylon/spandex blends. Nylons can be sublimated, depending on the fabric and it's blend. I have done many tests on all kinds of fabrics. But polyester is best for sublimating as it can withstand the temperature in the heat press. Polyester is found in high performance swimwear.

Good luck!!
