I need some help with a vinyl heat transfer job on a Carhartt jacket. The problem I am having is the vinyl will not apply. I am using it at the setting the vinyl came with...302, medium pressure, at 15 seconds. Please if anyone has any ideas, fell free to help me. Thank you

Are you sure you reversed the design and cut the right side of the vinyl? Just a thought.

What material is that jacket? Also, you say it won't apply...does that mean they don't apply at all, are they coming up on the edges??? Explain the "it won't apply" a little more.

Try and wait till it's cold before you peel the transparent plastic "backing" (carrier sheet, now on top when you press).

Double check that is not the material for nylon.
From what I have been told from the suppliers, hat material will not stick to cotton.
You may have to come up on the pressure to get it into that canvas texture.
Make sure that jacket does not have a waterproof coating, if so don't even try it.
