What type of printer is needed to do sublimation prints on mugs?

Default What type of printer is needed to do sublimation prints on mugs?

Looking to do some mug printing. Interested in any info to get started.

we use small format epson printers for mugs usually get 3 prints on one page of the 8.5 x 11 inch paper. still have c-86 and a couple of c-88's going strong. we use refillable carts in all and they don't clog like the ciss systems. good luck

I agree with UncleTee. I use the C-88+ for all my Sub work with refillable carts and ArTainium Sub Ink. Follow the instructions for your paper as to the 400 degree temp and suggested dwell time and you should have good results. The Geo Knight DK3 Mug press is a very good investment as it will imprint almost anything from 11 ounce mugs to Steins and water bottles.
