Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I'm new to the heat press world. Have been screen printing for a couple years.
My press should be arriving next week and in the meanwhile need to know if I can heat press a decal on a light blue nurses scrub that is 55%cotton and 45% poly?
Yes, you can print on the scrubs using transfer paper but you might lose some detail and vibrancy because of the blue color. We recommend about 375 degrees for 15 seconds.

hmm... Although I certainly appreciate both responses, they are definately two different answers as to heat settings and time under the press.
Does anyone care to elaborate why one way may be better than the other, or will both ways work equally well?

thanks again
Its probably due to location, I live in the UK and I think proworlded lives in the USA. We use diffrent units over here.
I bought this sample pack that should be coming in soon. Which paper out of all these would you recommend on light to medium blue? The scrubs are not a stretchy material.
