| Car flags... Hello I am looking to see if anyone has any exprience pressing car flags? I have a customer who wants 1000 black car flags with purple trim and basic white lettering. Does anyone know of a good supplier? I was thinking about making these with Plastisol Transfers. How much should I charge for this job? Here are the specs
Car Flags - approx $2/each
2 color print- purple trim - white letters
quantity - approx 1000
I am thinking that I could gang a few plastisol transfers to cut costs... let me know what you think...

| Re: Car flags... You have to make sure that the nylon can withstand the heat and won't melt. I would think that screen printing (at less than $1) each would be preferable and save you any labor costs.

| Re: Car flags... We've done sublimation car flags, but it is not an option for black flags.
Whatever you choose, make sure the material is soft enough to flutter - not too heavy.
As for price,
we charged $12.95 each with a much smaller production run: about 24. And a setup fee.
But, we were being compared to $20-$30 each from other sources.
So, basically, do some searching online to see what the market is in your area. You definately should be charging this one according to what the market can handle as opposed to what your costs are since they will be minimal.

| Re: Car flags... I use white flags and die them what ever color I need may cost a little more but it keeps the flags light so they fly nice. | |

| Re: Car flags... Do you mean fabric dye and then print on them
Or do you mean sublimate the whole thing?

| Re: Car flags... Since your graphic will have white lettering you will need to start with a white flag and dye the entire flag. It can be done very economically. | |
