Wasn't sure where to post this:

I've been using my SX-12 perfectly with Dr. Stika and I decided to get CutChoice to be able to get vectors from Adobe Illustrator CS2.

I'm not sure what is wrong but it is not responding the the "print" to SX-12 command.

I tried to do a test cut via CutChoice and it is saying under the Status Column "Cannot open port"

any ideas why this isn't working for me?

hi
first instal windows driver for your cutter
you can download from roland site
cutting

unzip it and run the setup

select instal
choes your cutter
match the com port number same as your device manager
click on start and finish instalation

then if you go to control panel and open your printer folder then you will have your cutter as a printer


design what every you want in illustrator or write
go to fill
print
select your sx12 as a printer
then open propreties ans change the size to
210
297 mm
save it

go back to print page and move your text or design to buttom right
click on print and it will works
