There are several different places to buy a heat press. You need to decide what you are looking for(6x12,15x15,16x20)clamshell,autopress. There is a thread somewhere on the forum that goes thru the different type pressess that are out there. I believe Josh from Imprintables Warehouse has a good tutorial out there. Good Luck
There are many good machines. Do you know what size you might want? Most important is to purchase through a reputable dealer who will provide the customer service when needed.

I've purchased two presses from Coastal Business and couldn't have been happier. Good variety, good prices and GREAT customer service.
Here's their website---http://www.coastalbusiness.com.
FYI, I'm not an employee or relative of any Coastal Business employee.
Just a satisfied customer.
I purchased mine from imprintables warehouse and their customer service also has been excellent. I also bought a cutter from them. Check out their site.
I bought a Phoenix from Josh at Imprintables, they offer a discount to forum members and sometimes have demo presses. The press has been perfect, no problems at all.
