Default Photoshop Help (Photoshop Elements)

I need to make a word to be able to go down the sleeve of a hoodie. I need it to say Cross Country. I figured out how to do vertical text, but I cannot figure out how to make both the same size so it looks goods and uniform on the sleeve. Any recommendations on size and how it should be? Anyone also have recommendations on the size of a transfer on a adult small hoodie for the chest area. Thanks so much. You all are very helpful!

Yes I am, but I thought if I did it as one item, it would not be big enough??? I am not sure what the standard lettering is. Thanks.

normal lettering for sleeve are around 3 inches tall (wide) by 13-15 long depending on the text and palettes on press.

print to regular paper and layout on a sleeve just to make sure your comfortable with the size.
