I use the Silicone treated parchment paper, I have tried Teflon but didnt like the way it worked. I have no idea about using a tea towell as i have never heard of anyone using one.

Welcome. Either one may work for you. Why don't you give them both a test? Good luck.

I am gussing that you mean for covering the pad on the press, in which casae either will work. If you mean for repressing the vinyl after peeling the backing off, do not use a towel or you may find it stuck to your shirt. If you plan on doing shirts with vinyl on both front and back I would order 2 teflon sheets unless you plan on using the parchment paper (teflon will give a glossy finish to the vinyl, parchment paper will leave a matte finish).

I really have no idea. Nobody has ever complained, but I never bring the gloss to their attention either. As long as it passes my 30/30 guarantee I'm happy (30 feet or 30 seconds whichever comes first) Just Kidding! I've been doing shirts for over 4 years and have never noticed.
