As long as you are using normal heat press and not dye sublimation, then yes you will be able to transfer to anything that is cloth. If you are using dye sub it must be 100% polyester.

Most of the places that sell wholesale shirts will also sell sweats... One Stop - America's Best Supplier and www.alphashirt.com are just a couple.

I also use Alphashirt.com. They are good bc they have many locations and you can hopefully do "local pick up'' and save on shipping. Alphashirt will also give you "case pricing'' if you *phone in* the order and ask for it. Alphashirt is also Broder Brothers and NES clothing. I opened an account with Alpha Shirt and now receive sales info from all three.

Yes, you can transfer inkjet heat transfers onto cotton and cotton/poly blend material. Generally, 100% cotton to a 50/50% cotton/poly blend.

Use a mouse pad to raise the imprint area above the seams on the sweats, and here are some step by step ''how to'' transfer onto cotton garments:
transfer paper tips for lasting image

This link will explain alot about how to heat press and the *why* you do certain things, it's the details that help have success in this process.

You must use the right ink for the job. Your paper choice will help decide your ink choice.
Here is a link to ink information that you'll need:

I had to thank you on that one Kelly... I did not know that they gave case pricing for phone orders

Do I need to phone in my orders, or simply call them and ask that I be given case pricing. I really do like the convenience of web order, but heck if it can save me a few bucks, I'm willing to switch.

NP, Phillip. I actually learned to do that from some here. I use the Philly location. The person who told me to do this was using another location, so hopefully, that trend works and they do it at all locations. I haven't heard of anyone being turned down, and I've noted that info other times...

So here's what the girl at Alpha told me. She said that placing the order on the web is automated and they can't adjust those. She told me if I phone the order in, they have a chance to adjust the price to case pricing for me.

That's all there is to it. I ordered a small order of Beefy tees and Gildans one time. It was a $30 order, they gave me case pricing. Love it. They are a good supplier. That and they are on my husband's travel route, so no shipping. Their prices can be a little higher than others, but between the case pricing and no shipping, they actually work out really well for me. Good luck to you, I hope it works for you. If it does, will you drop a note to let me know. I'm always curious how it turns out so I know if there are any issues. Thanks and best regards.
