I'm trying to cut a name in script but each letter shows it's beginning and ending lines with the ending lines overlapping the beginning lines of the next letter. (I hope I explained it okay and didn't cunfuse everyone ). How do I cut name as one piece and not each individual letter? Thanks in advance for all your answers
In Corel: (Do this in wireframe)
1. Select the text
2. Convert to curves
3. Break Curve Apart
4. Select the first letter and the second letter (Do not select any of the "loops" inside the letter- such as the inside loop on a lower case d or l.) Then weld these together.
5. Select the previously welded section and the next letter and weld again. Do this until all the letters are welded together.
This will weld it all together so you do not have the overlapping lines. Beware that when you go back to enhanced or normal view the text will not look correct as the insides of the letters will be filled in. This is not important for cutting - only what you see in the wireframe mode.
