Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Hi All!
Here at the office, we're using IKON CCP 650 (re-labled Konica/Minolta 6500's) non-fuser oil laser copier/printers. They produce beautiful crisp bright prints. Not sure if anyone else is using these machines to print shirt transfers, but wondering what the community would recommend for both white and black shirt transfers for these type machines. And any other info with these type transfers would be great! Thanks WAY in advance.
Cannot address the black colors...as I do not do those...but autoart.ca has a paper that is made especially for the KM machines. suggest you contact them or the Duracotton dealer closest to you....all are listed on autoart.ca
All the okidata machines currently on the market are non oil fuser machine and will work with Duracotton and I belive lnfortum on the forum uses one with image clip

sorry u misunderstood my question...i meant, do the oki printers use the same fuser? i need a new fuser and when looking on amazon.com no one specifies the model that the fuser there selling, will work with. so i was wondering if 1 fuser works for all the different models? i have the c5500
Oh...they DO NOT use the same fusers. I believe the 5500 and 5800 use the same but my understanding is they are not compatible with earlier models. But to be sure you should call Oki
