Exclamation printer ink

I am new to t-shirt printing and am trying to get the necessary equiptment. I already have an epson stylus DX6000 printer and i was wondering if i could use that or have to buy a special one.
Also if i can use it what sort of ink should i use that won't wreck the printer.
thanks for your help

That printer does use pigment ink which is great for making transfers. You would not have to switch out ink to print on paper.

that printer only uses pigment ink. so when you buy your replacement cartridges for it, there will be only 1 kind.
