We have just started in the heat press transfer business a short while ago. I had a request for a dark purple t-shirt with gold lettering and a gold image of a moose head for the local moose lodge.
I have seen the transfer foils. I'm looking for something to adhere to t-shirts using a heat press where I don't have to buy a $1500 vinyl or foil cutter. Does anyone know of any adhesive lettering and images in metallic gold for use with a heat press.
I'm not sure if plastisol transfers will give you the result your looking for, I use www.acetransco.com for my transfers. I would also suggest you check with Roger(plan B) at www.heatpressvinyl.com for custom cut vinyl. You can send him your design and will cut it for you and send it back. I know he has some real nice gold gliter vinyl that would look awesome on purple . Good luck. ..... JB
Where are you located? Either a vinyl supplier, or local forum members with their own cutter could supply pre-cut vinyl if that is the look you are after.
Mrdavid cuts vinyl, too, and mails it to you cut. What you could do is post in the recommendation and referrals section of the forum, asking for contacts of who can cut your vinyl for you, and send it back cut for you to apply. Some will weed it for you, others will let you weed it yourself and charge you less.
Folks could recommend people in your area, or they can offer their own services if they provide them. You may end up with a great deal. The nice thing is you can also look at someone's back posts, and get an idea of who you are dealing with from that. Good luck to you.
