I have been trying to print transfers with my new print, but I am every time I print the black ink runs. I don't know what to do. I have tried different settings and there are still a lot of runs on the transfer. I am wasting a lot of ink. I have an Epson R1800 printer, if that helps.

Paper brand?
Software package?
File type: jpg, vector?
Mac/PC
Is the black area text or a graphic?

In the mean time...
In the print dialog box, you should be able to make a few advanced choices that will affect ink flow.
A 2880 dpi, Glossy Photo paper setting will shoot a lot of ink, a 720 dpi, draft mode on plain paper will give you less ink.

Some paper brands take a few seconds for the ink to settle in, you must keep the printer on a level, sturdy surface. If the printer jerks while printing, you'll not have good results.
