I have a very simple shirt I need to print. It is basically just text with a two color logo at the bottom. I have been using cafepress but once again they raised their prices. I am thinking about buying a heat press and doing them myself. Will a press like this serve my needs using ink jet transfers? Assuming I can master it will my shirts be as good or better than Cafepress?


Any help would be appreciated.

Yes...you can do decent transfers with a press BUT I would not use the one you show. It is a chinese press and probably has a very limited warranty and the replacement parts are probably hard to find. In addition it looks like the temp is only in celsius . If you must buy a chinese press check out Sunie.com They have a similar press with a three year warranty for around $250 or so plus shipping.

Why not consider having your shirts done locally by using DTG printer. That would give you a press equal to cafepress I would think
