How can I get my printer to print white?
I have an epson R1800 printer and I use photoshop and illustrator. I was wondering how I could print white onto black paper. Could I set the area where I want it to be white to a color close to white?

Re: How can I get my printer to print white? You could try grey but generally you will not get good results printing on a dark material with a lighter color.

Re: How can I get my printer to print white? does your epson just use the standard toner cartridges (cmyk or cmyklclmlk)? If so, I don't think you can print white onto black paper. You would need some sort of opaque white ink running through your epson, and to my knowledge that doesn't exist with epson products. Why do you need to use black paper, instead of white anyway?

Re: How can I get my printer to print white? If you are using opaque paper for darks why don't you just leave the paper as the white areas? I guess it would help if we knew what your artwork looked like.

Re: How can I get my printer to print white? I agree with a epson your not going to print whiye, but with opaque paper leave the white with no color and it will look white. ..... JB
