Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
hey guys, i got some plastisol transfer samples and i was testing them out, i used a regular iron to print on (not yet bought my press) once it was done, it was really soft and looked good, i then washed it once to see how it did and when it came out it was alll crinkly!i ironed it inside out but no luck, did i do something wrong or is it down to the quality?
i cant remember i did or didnt stretch straight after pressing, what does stretching do exactly?
is there any other step that i need to do/ not do to stop this?
Nothing that I know of. Some types of inkjet transfers you can stretch after pressing to soften the feel of the transfer. I can't speak about laser printed transfers.

2 Things did that, Not enough heat and definetly not enough pressure.
