I have just bought a used Epson R1800 printer and a continuous ink system from superjetusa.com. I had trouble installing the ink system but got it figured out. I then tried to print on regular paper an the image looks streaky. The black is not dark and it is VERY streaky. The streaks are like lines. I thinks the printer is printing to fast. it seems like I am not getting enough ink flow. I don't know what to do to make it look right. I am wanting to print transfers with this printer.

Please help, any information will be useful.

You definately have air in the lines then or issues with the CISS system. Do a nozzle check and or head cleanings until it looks correct. If it's a used printer, since it's an epson, you have no idea if the previous person took care of it, epson requires alot of baby sitting as far as printers go, you may have to go as far as disassembling it, cleaning the wiper blade and spitting station. However if you're not technically inclined, I would buy a new one.
