Red face plastisol hot peel transfers peeling

ok here is my issue. I am using various stock transfers from proworld. I tried various temps and dwell times and they still seem to peel around the edges specifically around the far right corner which is the part of the paper I peel last as I am peeling from bottom left to top right. any suggestions? has anybody tried any pretretment before pressing transfers? quality is gonna kill my repeat biz. help!

If you are peeling immediately after opening your press, it could be uneven temps on your press platen.

If you have a heat gun, I would check the consistency of your heat.

A quick test without a heat gun would be to start your peel from the corner giving you problems and see if your print is still messing up.

I agree uneven heat or not enough pressure.I pre press to get rid of moisture, press the transfer, remove paper and cover with a silicone sheet and repress. I have great success doing this,it's more time consuming this way, but i don't have issues with peeling. ..... JB

i don't know what brand it is. I bought it off someone who bought it here:

www.asc365.net

So it probablly isn't top of the line but nevertheless. Anyhow most of the time the transfers come out good. howver, i am just concerned about quality. I did a show and the custom transfers were a hit but i don't want people coming back and complaining that it is peeling already.

So coeds, the transfer doesn't stick to the sheet at all? I tried pressing, removing the paper and re-pressing with the teflon sheet but found that it tends to peels off and stick to the teflon sheet a little. Hmm. maybe i'l try with a different sheet?

I had trouble with uneven transfers, then I finally decided to check if my press was even. Turns out that the table it was on was not even. When I fixed that, things worked much better.
ps. I couldn't find a level around the house quickly, so just placed a marble on the lower one and adjusted until the marble stayed put.

Just get the new iphone. Believe it or not, one of the new apps available is an on screen leveler that looks just like the water bubble ones you buy at home depot.
