Having a hard time figuring out what my options are for a 15x15 or 16x16 auto open clam type presses. I've seen the Phoenix Phire & Hotronix, but I'm hoping someone can tell me if there are others that might be more affordable or if maybe there are some deals on these to be had somewhere. These need to be the type that don't require an air compressor or anything special electricaly. Thanks
Re: Need help finding most affordable 15x15 auto clam
They are the same press,, hix makes one also. Most of the vendors here offer additional discounts for members, used in that type of press is hard to find.

Just a tip, since your question has changed slightly from your topic title, you may not get as many answers about the hix press.
BUT, if you search for hix presses using the search box at the top of the page, you'll probably find lots of threads where people have posted their experiences with these presses.
Re: Need help finding most affordable 15x15 auto clam
I suggest calling hix and asking them. If you want to find a good press and name brand isn't a issue .I would call Josh @ www.imprintales.com and ask if he has any demos. ..... JB
