hey i just order, a batch of the jetwear transfer paper from new milford photo, all the transfer paper printed out great until the last 2 sheets...

but those last 2 sheets were left out for hours while i was pressing the shirts with the heat press, i think that being exposed to that heat made the sheets mess up..


so anyways when i went back to print those 2 sheets with the printer, the print was totally all messed up...

then after i cleaned my printer, and i printed on a regular 8x11 sheet and it printer fine, and then later on i used another piece of transfer paper and there was no problem

would u agree it was the transfer being exposed to the heat!!

where does everyone store their transfer paper

When you say you cleaned your printer, did you mean that you performed a head cleaning? If so I would say that it was the printer and not the paper. I just make that assumption based off of the info given. I doubt that the elevated temperature in the room could have affected the paper that way but I could be wrong.

Other than the transfer paper that stays in my printer loading tray, I keep all of my heat transfer paper in sealed plastic bags. I also make sure to keep them in a controlled environment that has no excess heat or cold and has normal humidity levels.

It could have been humidity causing it. I keep my transfer papers next to the press when I am pressing and no problem.

i have the same problem, its weird but now i dont cut till im ready to press within the hour
