Ok, I started my clothing line at the beginning of this year, it deals with motorcycles, dirt and harleys, and I do a few shows, but am at the desert all winter/spring with my Vendor trailer. Let me try to keep this simple, I am tired of paying setup fees, and everything else when i come up with new designs, so I am now thinking about a Heat press, that I can set up in my trailer, so i can make what I need, when I need it, for a lot less, ( Starting clothing companies is a lot more expensive that I thought). Anyway, is a heat press a "good" alternative to screen printing? do the images come off fast in the washer?

what all do i need? the press, a good printer, lots of ink and paper??

If I am not descriptive enough, please let me know...

You may also want to search the forums for topics on printing vinyl transfers (and applying them to t-shirts with a heat press). I know a few members here do this for printing t-shirt designs from a trailer.
