hey just wondering if anyone can help me out by telling me what size press i will need to press a2 transfers?

Hi. To press in one go, you'd need a press with a 24" x 17" platen.

Such presses are available, they wouldn't be cheap though and you'd probably need a fork lift truck to move it into place.

There are two presses that fit the bill-

The HIX SwingMan 25D and the Geo Knight DK25S. Both are 220v.

The HIX comes in at 155 lbs. (70 kilos) and the Knight at 440 lbs. (200 kilos).

The reason for the disparity in weight is because the Knight press has a welded steel frame and the press is attached to a steel table.

The HIX press is a table-top model.

thanks guys is it possible to print the transfer in two gosor does it have to be done all at once?

You cannot "double hit" most transfers.

You could try using a teflon sheet and doing it in stages, but it's not ideal.
