I have the Jerzeez 50/50, but unfortunately I only have an inkjet printer-- specifically the HP PSC1510, and the ink is just plain old dye-based stuff.
Would I be better off looking around like a general Arts and Crafts store? I mean they probably have more consumer based stuff there. | | | | | |
I found the stuff in the stores to be overpriced and inferior, by alot in both categories. I started out with off the shelf paper from WM, and dye ink, and it wasn't good. lol. It looked nice at first, and lasted a few washes, so if you only need a day event out of them, and you aren't selling them, you could definitely get by with something on the shelf at the store and dye ink.
No matter what paper you use, dye ink will wash out of it, with the exception of
JPSS/Jetprosofstretch (used with a heat press).
If you need longer wear, and a better product bc you plan to sell them, see about finding a sample pack of Ironall like in the link below.
Then ask around if any of your friends have an Epson printer, the kind that uses Durabrite or UltraChrome will work great for you. Alot of times, graphic artists, or photog fans have these printers... check your pals and family, save you some headaches with fading.
Here's a link to a sample pack of 5:

Best regards to you... hope they come out nice for you. Kelly.
