Question Advice for my first big run please.

Hello all,
I am getting ready to order custom plastisol transfers for my first big order. I am trying to plan this all out in my head before I do anything. The order is for 166 shirts. Of these, 30 shirts are youth sizes... 24 - large and 6 - medium. The youth medium measures 15" in between shoulder seams. How big can the transfer be on these smaller shirts and still look right???
The design for the backside is about 13" x 13.25". Is this too big for the youth shirts? Do I need to order a smaller size for the youth shirts I have? Or can I roll with this size on all the shirts?
If I need to shrink the design, what is a recommended size? Of course, this will cost me more for both size transfers.
Any thoughts?

for youth I would go with a 10x10 at the most. I also would look for a place to do the transfers that offers gang sheets so you can maybe fit two logos on one transfer to save you some cash. Not sure if anyone can do it that big though.

I would use 11x11 transfers and they would work on all the shirts with no issue. I would ask your plastisol maker for advice, but that is what I would do. I use Ace Transfer Company, Inc. and they help me out with these type of issues all the time. ..... JB

If you shrink the sizes and gang the images, just beware that some companies really rip you with extra charges for each ganged item which can increase the price several dollars per sheet. F&M doesn't charge extra for ganged images.
