Default What type of transfers are Pro World

I searched the forum, but couldn't find a clear cut anserw to this question.....What type of transfers are the stock transfers from Pro world considered? Are they Plastisol? Screen Print? Ink Jet? I thought that they were plastisol, but some of the ones i have gotten in the past have a heavy feel to them...

Pro world transfers are made with plastisol inks. The same ink used in screen printing. ..... JB

Thanks for the answer....why are some of the designs so heavy? i was under the impression that screen printing did not have a heavy feel to it.

I'm not sure, unless it's because of number of colors or additives. ...JB

Many transfers are designed to go on both darks and lite apparel. Opaque inks, multi colors, underbase etc all affect the print. Try the transfers you wont be dissapointed. Pro-World doesnt make the transfers.

I have used them and I really really do like them a lot....The only issue I am having right now is putting the transfer on ribbed tank tops. When it is firt applied it looks great but as soon as the shirt is worn and the design stretches in the bust area it cracks and looks horrible. Is there anyway around the cracking??

It's just that they are popular, but I guess I will have to find an alternative.

I avoid ribbed gear but I do agree they are popular.
