Yes.. like those.. but can they just be done on some type of sticker paper through the printer?
Nope... You gotta have a cutter. About the only way to do white on a clear vinyl would be either a Mimaki or a Gerber Edge, and both of thsoe tend to be special purpose machines.
You can buy a CHEAP vinyl cutter for about $300 or so, but you do get what you pay for.
We have a gx 24 and do decals. The machine only cuts vinyl so it does not print anything.
I just use calendar vinyl but I know a lot of others use cast. I have had my sign on the back of my expedition for quite a long time and it still looks good even with the wiper hitting it on the rear window.
My friend actually sells the stick figure decals to the military stores and is doing awesome. We actually are doing some for an event coming up. We paid for an "UV/Weatherproof" upgrade. Or are they pulling my leg? They said it is a clear coat they put on top and guarantees the life of the sticker for 3 years. No matter the weather or how many times it gets washed. Or did I get taken?
Does someone here do stickers like that? I would love to find someone here!
Mardiv if you post a thread for a referral in the referrals section you would probably get some pretty good replies as I know alot of members here do vinyl.

imo this is not needed, they make 5 and 7 year vinyl that will last much longer too without anything. They can put a laminate on it as well like you are mentioning, but I can't see why to be honest. I have stickers I have done 5 years ago with oracle 651 that still look great today.
does anyone know the procedure and products you need to make the stick figure decals that you see in car windows?
1.(A vinyl cutter).. doesn't have to be a Roland Gx24 for this purpose any cutter can do this but yo get what you pay for..
2.(Vinyl) Oracal 651 has been treating me good, but theres other vinyl film out there that works well with others here on the board.
3. (Stick Figures) you can buy these images ready to cut on your vinyl cutter on ebay starting from $10 dollars to $45 or go to your local book library and hit the kids section on titles of learning how to draw stick people..you'll be suprised..
4. a squeege your weeding tools and your application tape.

Good to know since I was paying extra for this extra "layer!"
