Default What is absolute best printer to buy for doing heat transfers? (and best paper too?)

Just starting out, but we want to buy the best (within $$ reason!!) printer for doing heat transfers. We have the Brother Digital Garment Printer GT541 also, and the Hix Swingman 20D Heat Press, but we want (and need) a good transfer system.....what is the best Printer and Paper for our needs? Thanks in advance for your replly....

Hi Rob . . printers and transfer paper is always a matter of opinion

but I have a C86 and C88 - (both epsons)
and *singing*~ I am stuck on -- JET-PRO SofStretch Inkjet Heat Transfer Paper --
*cuz JET-PRO SofStretch is stuck on me*~ . . L*~

don't think you can go wrong with either one -- JMO
I purchase Jet-Pro from Coastal Business Supplies (link listed on left) ($70.00 - 100 sheets)
epson C88 still can be purchase directly from Epson.com ($79.99)

You can buy a epson c120(Refurb) from epson clearance section for $45 and they pay shipping. I have bought several and have no issue with the 3 I have opened and used so far. ..... JB

If you're looking to make quality tees that are durable and have silk screen like feel than I would go with OKI 3400 and DuraCotton HT. You can't go wrong with that.
