Has anyone tried putting transfers on a carrier medium for machine cutting? I've got some lights material from Best Blanks and some other Alpha Green Line, and they're both really too thin to go in the cutter by themselves - I'm going to have to go all the way through the paper. And that won't work very well with the cutting strip on the plotter, etc...
Any suggestions? | | | | | |
Get a large 20"x13" plastic no-tac "carrier sheet"(usually from a sign company...got mine from Accugraphics in apopka FL) then get some KRYLON "easy-tac" spray.
Spray a light coating on the back of the transfer paper...tac to "carrier sheet" and you should be ready to go.
I do believe Graphtec sells "Tacky carrier sheets"...but they cost more than the "no-tac" ones and on the tacky Graphtec carrier sheets....the "tac" eventually "runs out'.....so you will have to buy a spray anyway.
(hope I explained this the right way)
