It could be the sizing in the material causing this. I suggest you try covering the garment with a teflon sheet before pressing. I hope this helps. ..... JB

Hi. Although some people may disagree with the method, I always cover garments with a teflon sheet before pressing and never have any problems. It protects the garment and your press.

Two quick guidance points, avoid moving the transfer when covering with the teflon sheet and add a couple of seconds to your dwell time to allow the heat to permeate through the sheet.

Exactly, though I don't see why people would disagree. It keeps shirts from scorching, keeps things from melting to your press. After a few goofs, I learned very quickly to use the Teflon each time.

So I for one agree with you. Let the naysayers rot in T-shirt Hell, hehehe, j/k

JA, use a Teflon sheet, it works wonders.

JA,

I have the problem with any color shirt, if I do NOT wash it before pressing it. The washing gets rid of the sizing and no more shiney square. Hope this helps.

George

Say you didn't wash it before you pressed. Does the shiny square come out after you was it?
