Default Am I forgetting anything? Startup task completed so far..

Done so far:

LLC Registered
EIN Complete
State Sales Tax ID
Local Business License
Name Registered (and DBA name)

Bought:

15x15 Heat Press
Epson c120
CISS with Heat Press ink
JPSS for whites
Teflon Sheets

Things I need:

T-shirts (waiting to hear back on my wholesale application from American Apperal)
IronAll for darks (it appears too expensive, any suitable alternatives?)

What else am I forgetting folks - as always... thanks for all your help.

A rolodex...

For instance, I'm NEVER going to print dye-sub transfers again, not without serious arm twisting. But I'm happy to buy them from other people.

If you have not created a business plan, I would suggest that you do that. Even if you think you don't need it.

It's more a reality check for yourself. You don't have to do anything elaborate. You can find samples at sites like the SBA, or do a Yahoo search.

If you haven't already opened a business checking account, do it. If you don't have a business credit card, get one.

Start researching merchant processing for credit cards. There's a lot to learn by comparing.

Find more resources for apparel and accessories, so that you're already set up when a customer asks for a specific item.

Don't skimp on the transfer paper or ink...use what's good, not what's cheap. It will be more economical in the long run.

Start making t-shirts right now...test your papers...test your method...test wash the shirts...etc. That is the only way to really learn. That's the only way to sound and be confident when you're selling those first orders. Ruin a dozen shirts if you have to...it's cheaper in the long run than screwing up that first order.
