Polyester Dazzle Uniforms which Thermoflex to use?
I am going to be pressing some uniforms for a softball team. their uniforms are dazzle polyester. my question is would thermoflex plus work on these or would I have to use thermoflex for nylon. they said that thermoflex for nylons work on the dazzle uniforms. has anybody tried this?
the thermoxflex plus says it works on some polyester

I've done full color sublimation on a light gold dazzle. It came out insanely well. The gold does throw the colors off a tad, but the clearity and look makes up for the lack of underbase.
One team will probably bring the entire association to us next year.

I have used thermoflex for nylons (ThermoFlex Xtra) on nylon wind shirts, and on nylon cinch bags. I worked very well. This may be the product you need for this particular application.

thanks for all your help. I actually went to the store and bought some cheap dazzle polyester shorts to do a test on and the thermoflex plus worked great . no peeling and adhered to the fabric just fine.

I'm tried a number of different vinyls on polyester jackets for a large order I'm working on. If it matters to anyone, they are Micron jackets from Holloway.
I took a jacket and pressed a sample of Eco Film, Eco Film Plus, Video Flex, Video Flex Extra, Easyweed and about 8 different transfer samples. Most of the transfers peeled off after repeated washing. The vinyl's all held up pretty well, the only ones that had letters partially come off were Eco Film and Easyweed. I followed the instructions with each vinyl as closely as I could but it's always possible I did something wrong. We ran the jacket through the wash as hot as we could, then ran it through the dryer on max heat. I'd say we ran it through at least 20 times...
In the end, I decided to go with elastoflex transfers from Ace Transfer to cut down the amount of time needed to process each jacket. It ends up being cheaper and much quicker to just place and press than to cut, weed and lineup 2 colors for 275 jackets.
Not sure about the Dazzle uniforms but from what I've experienced so far, the Eco Film Plus from Imprintables would be a good choice to start with.
