Can you use a CIS with pint size bottles? I have been comparing different systems and found that Inksupply.com sells ink in pint size bottles for $55.00. They say that that shelf live is a year or more and is more economical yet recommend the 4oz bottles for CIS systems.

Are CIS systems limited to 4oz bottles?

Anyone have any idea? I have emailed Inkrepublic asking if pint size bottles will work with their CIS kit.

IR replied and said that I could use pint sized bottles but may have to raise the printer to optimize ink flow or use their 100ml bottles and just keep refilling.
