Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I was in the process of doing my first shirt on my new heat press using cad-color solutions opaque when per instructions it says use Kraft paper. Can anyone tell me if the same kraft paper I use on a cold lamintor is the same kind of paper? I didn't receive a teflon pad either and was wondering if that is an apsolute must also. I am anxious to get started but am now afraid that I don't have all of the supplies I may need.

I don't know what kind of kraft paper you use in a cold laminator but I would assume that all kraft paper is the same. You can also use parchment paper or tracing paper. Because opaque transfers face up (versus transfers for lights which face the shirt) the purpose of the paper is to protect your upper platen.
