Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
So I bought a CIS from Inkjetcarts.us and was/am very unhappy with it. They are basically refillable cartridges but one had a crack and two others were practically squirting out the valves and got ink all over the inside of my printer.
I decided that the use of ink is important enough for me to spend the money for a quality CIS system. I am looking into Coastal's system but wondered, should I be ok using the 4oz bottles of heat transfer ink that I have from the old Inkjetcarts.us system? At least that way it isn't a total loss.
Has anyone had experience with the ink from Inkjetcarts.us? I got 4 - 4oz bottles of high heat / heat transfer ink for $50.00. Im not sure of the quality though.
I am going to get a cis for the c88+ and the c120 I have coming. InkRepublic looks like a good deal. any one had a problem with any of their units?
The InkRepublic kit looks like a solid piece. The lines look a bit thicker than others on the market. I am just looking to see if I can use that kit (purchase empty) and use pint size bottles of ink instead of 4oz bottles. Anyone know?
I just ordered the CIS for a c120 from inkrepublic and the cart. I also have a ink cart from supertobuy...I use this for my epson Photo380 that I use to print high gloss photos for magnets that I make.
I cant wait to compare the difference inthe cart.
I will let you know what they are both like in a few days. I m so ready to get the ink that I paid for super fast shipping...I'm a sucker
On a whim (mostly after reading the other post), I just bought a C120 to go with my C88+. Guess I need two CIS systems now....a 3rd when I get a wide format printer
