Default Do all papers create a rough feeling imprint?

Some tests with TransJet II on 100% cotton have produced a transfer that looks great, but feels rough.

I'm wondering whether Jet Pro SofStretch is a better choice?

Or is there another trick that will give an imprint that does not feel as rough?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Jennifer

With Jet Pro SofStretch when washed it will get softer. May be you should try washing and see if that helps any. I now when I sell to customers I tell them that it will get softer more you wash them hope this helps.

I've used JPSS and the "feel" changes from brand of blank to brand of blank. On one brand JPSS feel rough and on another it has no hand.

So if you don't like the rough feel I would change to a different blank. I'm sorry but I don't have a list of blanks that work well with JPSS.

I'm sure that someone will pop in here to help.....

I've tried TransJet II and on a scale of roughness between Ironall and JPSS it ranks in the middle. JPSS has less hand (especially after washing) but like Dog said, I think it depends on the substrate. 100% cotton will feel rougher because the threads tend to pull up. 50/50 will feel smoother [that's what I've heard, but I haven't tried it myself].
