Default inkcart refilling for c120

I just recieved the heat transfer ink kit from inkjetcarts.us- for my epson c120 .I am a little nervous about if I am understanding how to do this without making a big mistake. I thought it would be so easy until I recieved the instructions.Putting the carts in looks easy enough .Don't know if I am to have one needle in the air port at the same time as filling the fill port. do I need to do all kinds of adjustments? I thought I had read on the forum that it was so simple, I am hoping someone can clue me in as I need to have this new ink useable by tuesday . I already have the jpss paper I need to try it with.

Marie...maybe I can be of some assistance. I was in the same spot you're in a few months ago. On the initial fill you only use the needle to extract ink from the bottles. You have to wash the needle with each color change. Once you've filled the syringe with about 12ml of ink, you remove the needle and insert the syringe without the needle in the front port with the port closest to the edge still closed (so you can form a vacuum.) Once the syringe is inserted, draw back on the syringe to about the 20-25 mark. This pulls up air into the syringe and out of the cartridge. You'll need to do this repeatedly until no more bubbles come up through the ink in the syringe and all the ink is in the cartridge. Seemed a little weird to me and the directions weren't the best, but inkjetcarts.us package for the C120 is an excellent package. PM me if you have more questions.
