Default HOw to do a rainbow on t-shirt

I have a customer who wants a rainbow with lettering on the back of white t-shirt and a different logo on the left chest. Should I do this in vinyl, heat transfer or call transfer express to have them print it?

Don't know much about vinyl, but it seems like it would be way too much trouble for a job with that many colors.

I'd go with either transfer paper or plastisol depending on what quantity you're looking to do.

How many total colors do you have?

Do you have Corel? Try using the artistic media function. I have Corel x3 and was playing with the rainbow selection last night. I'd go with ink jet or laser transfers. Depending How many shirts you need to make and your budget, plastisol would look better and last longer. Hope this helps, Mike

F&M freedom transfers for multi colors should do the trick.

I'd also use a heat transfer and given the way you describe it, it sounds like it would be easy to cut out so you'd have less of a poly window.

If you have a low quantity that you need to be done then I would suggest transfer paper. Large numbers I would look into plastisols.

I need to do 20 of them. I checked into plastisol and it would be VERY expensive like $25/transfer since it is 8 colors. So I'm going to try tranfers , but I haven't ever done a transfer before and I'm kinda nervous-I have an Epson C88 printer that I'm goingto try and these will be going onto white T's.
Thanks for you info.

With Freedom Transfers by F&M Expressions you can do an unlimited number of colors because it's 4-color process. At a quantity of 20 it would be $6-10 per sheet depending on which size sheet you go with. You can gang up as much stuff as you want.

Kimsei I would do the transfer first they take more heat. Then I would cover them and do the Vinyl if this is the way you are doing them vinyl you dont need the heat like transfer .

what is the website for Freedom Tansfers? It'll be 20 shirts with 8 colors on the back and 3 (i think) on the left chest.

Does anyone know the hand to freedom transfers from F &M. Seems like I remember them having an almost rubbery feel. I could be wrong.

They do have a 'rubbery' feel.
