Default transfer paper performance

Hi. I am new to the forum and hope that I have got this posting right. My question refers to a "SELF WEEDING INKJET TRANSFER PAPER called KISSCUT. Has anyone had any experience of this and with what results.Any feedback would be much appreciated as I have just ordered 25 A4 sheets to try out. Information about this product can be found at the following link. I apologise if this link is not acceptable as I am only just learning the correct forum rules.

I have heard about it and I know it requires a special ink. I decided to stay away form it for that reason. .... JB

hanks JB.
I have received 25 A4 sheets in the post this morning so I will give it a try later today. I will use an EPSON DX8450 with its own normal inkjet. I will keep you updated with both the printing and washing results. Thanks again for your comments.

The Transfer Press
Here is a link to a post that is about a year old which describes the durability of Kisscut:

http://www.t-shirtforums.com/p140257-post18.html

Not sure if the manufacturer has change the formula since then.

The post does not mention Kisscut. However, that was a reply to a member asking about the durability of Kisscut.

Thanks Luis. I believe this is one of many different selfweeding papers now available so I will wait for my wash results over a period. I suspect the results shown in your link will prevail. My fingers are crossed for a good outcome. TOM

I had heard the same thing regarding the specialized inks. I'll be looking forward to your results also. I too decided to stay away due to the use of the "specialized inks"

You never know. The manufacturer may have made some improvement with the product. One of the staff that I was in contact with at Kisscut is a member of the forums. His Id is andy @ kisscut. He told me that he read that post. It may have been the driving force to improve the product.

Another self weeding paper that is made in China had initially a bad report. Lately the formula has been changed. So far the report about it is positive.

David and Luis, does this paper that Tom is talking about have anything to do with the newest China paper that is self weed? The one in this link?
New Improved Self-weeding transfer paper from China!

Good luck, Tom/Magicman39. Sometimes papers change over time. I just lost my wonderful transfer paper for darks due to some sort of mfg problems. You never know, so good luck. Cheers, Kelly
