Default ImageClip printer settings, press, etc.

Hey guys-
I've got some questions for anyone who wants to help me out! Before I crank up my new heat press and ruin all of transfer sheets from the start, I'm going to ask some questions first.
Just received my 15x15 Mighty Press and ImageClip transfer sheets. I already had an HP Laser printer. I will be pressing onto 100% cotton white tshirts.
1. What printer and paper settings to print onto the ImageClip transfer sheets?
2. On that Mighty Press, what pressure setting to use for the transfer from red sheet to green? pressure setting pressing to tshirt?
3. I haven't read much about this, but do I need to get the teflon sleeves to protect my heatpress?
Thanks for any help....I know this is the place to be for perfect advice!

I do not own a HP laser printer. I own an Okidata C5200ne. I set the media weight to ultra high or card stock. I fed the paper individually in the multi pass tray.

Check your user manual to see if there is a setting that is comparable to what I use.

A member that said had used the model you use with Imageclip for 3 years with good result. Her id is Dodank. She can help you with you printer better than I can. Send her a PM.

Set the press at medium pressure when pressing the red and green paper.

Set the press at very heavy pressure when pressing the transfer (red) on the shirt.

Another thing that will run into is too much polymer speckle on the red paper. Cracking also is a bit of an issue. Imageclip do not work well with light pastel color design.

Here are a some links that you can read up about Imageclip:

i don't know about anybody else but i try to only use 5050 tees with the imageclip because it holds the color and t shirt form better than 100%.
on my hp i use heavy paper setting and use reg tray. on my mighty press i use 210-220 on first press light-med pressure 10-12 seconds on press at 375 12 -15 sec on heavy pressure.

I just purchased a Oki C610, since the 6050 has been discontinued, which ultra high or heavy setting did you use? I have Ultra Heavy 2, and 3 to send through the bypass.
