Default Tee Square It and vinyl transfers

I just did my first order of 20 t-shirts using vinyl logos, names and number for a kickball team. My question is would the Tee Square It work for vinyl transfers. I can understand that it works when you can move the transfer around the t-shirt but vinyl is sticky so you can't move it.

I use the Tee Square It for all my alignment needs. This is a must have tool for all types of heat press applications. It allows you to keep all your transfer applied in the same exact location on each garment. .... JB

Thank you for the reply, I have seen all of the videos and I can see where is would be helpful.

My question then would be how do you do it without the transfer sticking to the t-shirt before you transfer it

You just lift up the transfer til you get it centered, its better than having shirts come back to you with of center transfers.

Yes, it will work just fine. Heat press vinyl like thermoFlex has a sticky backing, but it isn't that sticky to where you can't adjust it on the shirt. ThermoFlex itself isn't sticky at all, just the clear backing.

I guess I need to jump in here.. as the inventor of the TSI.. yes it will work. Yes it does stick but the TSI is not heavy and you can easily move the transfer. I do a lot with vinyl and I only use the sticky back kind. Now that said If you pre-press your shirt and then immediately use a transfer the glue will start to stick and placing anything on it will not help you move it. I would wait till the shirt cooled a bit so the transfer moves with ease. If I can help further IM me. Lou
