Default HELP! Hotronix Auto Clam Setup Not Working Properly

I am trying to setup my Hotronix Press. I followed the instructions, but something went wrong.

1. I set the temperature at 375, hit the mode to set the time at 30 seconds, hit mode again to set time at 30 seconds.

2. Hit mode again and I have 453 on the LCD. It does not show the temperature of 375.

Somehow I beleive the 453 is seconds, therefore, I don't believe the press is heating properly.

When I tried to press a bag, it did not transfer properly.

Can anyone help. I have an order of 18 bags to press by tomorrow (Monday, Memorial Day)

Thank you for your immediate help.

I can be reached at 410-977-9344 if you wouldn't mind calling.

Rose

Hi Rose, In your instructions does it explain how to reset back to factory settings. I know the digital stuff sometimes needs reset. I would try un plugging the unit and them waiting a few minutes and plugging back in. I would try to hold the clear and power button at the same time. These are things I've done for other electronics in the past to reset them . I hope someone can help. These are things I would try. ...... JB

Hi JB,

Thanks for your suggestions. But there are no instructions for resetting back to factory settings. I have done what you said, but nothing happens.

Thanks again!

Smile Re: HELP! Hotronix Auto Clam Setup Not Working Properly

Ross of www.personalizedimprinting.com saved the day for me. I was able to drive to his location and he pressed the 18 bags. I am grateful for he and his wife's open door during the holiday.

It was my FIRST order and my client was very pleased with the product.

Turns out a wire came loose during shipping of my press. Brian at Hotronix assisted me in opening the casing where the motherboard is and I was able to re-seat the wire.

Thanks to all that assisted me with well wishes and strategies to help locate the problem.

Rose

Wonderful that this worked out for you and you learned something more about the press going screwy!
