Default Transfer colors not matching on screen colors.

I just got my new C120 and some heat transfer paper for darks. I did a black logo and pressed it and it came out ok. Now I printed a bright blue logo and when I printed it it came out really dark almost black. Is it my printer, paper, what? If it is the printer how do I get into the settings to change the colors and is there a good way to test it.

Also, I accidentally bought the wrong size transfer paper it is 4x6 instead of 8.5x11. I can use it but i'm having trouble getting it to print right. When it is at the end of the print it twists the paper and messes the print up. Is there a way to stop this because I know thw printer is supposed to be able to print to 4x6 sheets.

Thank You

Getting your printer calibrated to your screen can be tricky if they are far off. Try making a Pantone swatch and printing it out. Then compare your Pantone book with both your monitor and printed swatch. The monitor, printer and swatch book will never match 100% because the printer and swatch book are cmyk color while the monitor is limited to rgb.

The paper shouldn't jam but try setting the paper type to heavyweight in printing properties, this works slightly better for me. Also make sure the paper size (4x6) is correct in the printing properties or you can get jams.

Calibrating your monitor can be done if you have the device for it to do. Even then you'll need to calibrate the monitor after some working hours again,
If you do not have such spectrometer and software to calibrate you only can adjust your monitor with simple white-black and contrast settings.

Calibrating your printer can be done more easier but again if you do not have spectrometer and software you need to buy this profiling services. Contact me if you need help in this matter.
