Default Printa Heat Press?

As I was reading the latest issue of Printwear online, I saw a section on heat presses and noticed one I do not hear much about.

It's called the Printa Digital SwingAway Heat Press and is sold as part of a dye-sublimation package.

Printa is also releasing a new tunnel-style press called the 550 Tunnel, also pictured.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone use a Printa heat press here for all of your pressing needs and what feedback can you give on it?

Hi JB! They do appear solid.

However, the Tunnel model is terribly lightweight at under 60 lbs! I like this design though...

If I was going to buy a tunnel style heat press , I would go with the Hotronix. They came up with the idea and put out the first one on the market. I really like the old fashioned non digital type press. I have had issues with my hotronix digital, but still would go with them for the tunnel style. If I was buying a new press today, i would buy a Hix product. they have solid machines and a great service department. i have called them a few different times and they have never failed to answer my question on the spot or call me back the same day. I preach about service after the sale and not buying cheap equipment. I really appreciate a company that services what they sale quickley and hoinestly. ....... JB

I actually have the swing away, it's alright but I wouldn't use it all the time. We use it strictly for sublimation and have a Stahl's hotronix for our t-shirts... it is a lot better machine.
