Hi
I bought a heat press through E-bay over a year ago and it works just fine. Try to learn as much as you can from the seller about the press before you bid on it.
You are always taking a chance when you purchase something without actually seeing the real product. I've bought other items on E-bay that cost me almost $1000 and I've always been satisfied with the seller and the service I receive as well as the quality of the product that I purchased. Maybe I'm just lucky. Anyway good luck to you, whatever your decision may be.

I have a small GeoKnight (12x14) and bought a large no name press on ebay (16x24). It was huge, but it sucked. I never got a good press from it. The pressure and temp was inconsistent across it. Seller was decent about it and gave me my money back. When I want back to using the Geo Knight I couldn't believe how smoothly it worked.
It felt clunky to me before I used that ebay press.
