Default Heat pressing Dri-fit shirts

Hey everyone....I am trying to press platisol transfers on a white Dri-fit T. But it keeps leaving "plasic looking burn mark" on the shirt. It isn't really burning it, but you can really tell where the heat press hit the shirt. I tried putting a mouse pad under the shirt to limit the size of the mark. The transfer is pocket size. Any help would be great!

Just in case you need to know, the shirt is a Vapor apparel brand.

thanks,
nick

I've posted extensively about my experiences pressing onto performance fabrics. Do some searches for wicking, performance fabric & heat press.
