Default Who is using a Heatmaster Heat press?

Hello I am wondering who uses a Heatmaster Heat Press and what are your thoughts and opinion about this heat press.

I did notice more than a year a go there were some small issues with tis press going by what I have read in this forum so I am interested to hear the latest.

The reason I ask is that I am considering purchasing one in Melbourne.

Thanks

Joe

My heat master press just died! It lasted me 3 years... then I had some temp problems and finally it just started blowing the fuses as soon as I put them in. I would have loved to buy a new one, but I had to settle for a SUNIE instead.

Hi Joe,

I too am wanting to know what the opinions or thoughts are about these presses. I too am from Melb, and thinking of either getting this or a Hix. Hey let me know what you decide on.
Where about's will you get this from if you do decide on getting this?

Regards.

Hi Tizz I bought a Heat Master and did not pay full retail Roxcell was qouting.

The press is quality made.

There are 3 types of presses.

1. Cheap Ones found on ebay for $300-$450
2. The Heat Master and the HIX for about $1900
3. Stahls Quality Presses which require I think a 10 amp or so plug and this is an indication these machines mean Business by the power required.

If I had the cash I would go with a Stahls Hotronix Magnetic Clam 40cm x 50cm as these are brilliant machines and they have a digital readout of the pressure applied and you will not out live it and can be used for any heat transfer application required. I think these are about $3k inc GST Stahls' Pacific - Heat Presses

I think the money I spent on the Heat Master should keep me out of trouble for a while and the machine looks heavy duty and does not look cheaply made. The heat element has a lifetime warranty and the unit itself has a 12 month warranty.

I bought mine from Roxcell and you can speak with Ira. Just ask for a discount and don't budge.

If you can afford the $3k buy the Stahls and don't waste your time with anything else otherwise the Heat Master will do nicely.

I hope this makes sense.

Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks heaps for the info, I really appreciate it.

I spoke with Roxcell just last week, but I was inquiring about the Hix presses they had to offer. (Just getting a price), I hadn't given much thought of the Heat Master as there hasn't been much reviews here in the forums about em. As for Stahls' Pacific I contacted them via email with the same inquiries but never received any reply's! The last message I sent to them was about 3 weeks ago but still no word from them. (I don't think they want to sell me a press! lol..) I do quite like the look of the Stahls' press. So now I'm focused on either the Hix and thanks to you the Heat Master.
Let me know how you go with this press, would love to hear any feedback. By the way if you don't mind me asking what are you planning on pressing?

Thanks again for the info.

Regards

Tizz

Tizz you need to call Stahls and they are friendly.

If your going to buy the HIX save $800 and get the heat master.

I was going to buy Proworld transfers but will not waste my time because they are padantic to press plus you can not sell multples of shirts unless you have multiple transfers.

Roxcell has a demo in the shop and you can take a look at the build quality.

Goodluck with it.

Joe

Hey Joe,

I might drop past Roxcell some time this week and check out their demo.
Gotta start somewhere. If they give me a discount then I might just get one!

Thanks
